 Observatory Status:
Due to weather and the holidays, the Merrimack Observatory will be CLOSED until Wednesday, January 7. Have a happy holidays and we'll see you in 2009!

(We are normally open every CLEAR Wednesday night. The observatory is opened 7 - 10 PM, weather permitting)

What's Up:

Look in the west after sunset to see beautiful Venus, the Evening Star.

A selection of objects from constellations such as Cygnus, Sagittarius, Hercules including double stars, galaxies, open clusters and nebulae.

Dress warmly - the observatory is open to the night air and it will be cold tonight!
